The Positives and Negatives Ratio in the KFC franchise is very large. Positives features Kentucky Fried Chicken has are as follows. The company provides those in search of work with the opportunity to work and make money. KFC provides cheap and easily acquired food for individuals on either a tight budget or individuals looking for quick and easy food. Due to the high technology pressure cookers used, KFC chicken is made quickly and efficiently, resulting in less waiting time for customers. Something you may not know about the KFC franchise is that they try to make work as exciting and stress less as possible. The one final positive point i have about KFC is that every summer, they bring back the oh so magnificent, double down. This now, brings us to the negatives of KFC.

Kentucky Fried Chicken has been known to buy chickens from factories who abuse chickens. The KFC franchise, contrary to popular belief does not abuse the chickens themselves. However KFC isn't guilt free considering they continue to purchase from these suppliers and "support" the abuse, as some people might say.
Roughly 850 million chickens are slaughtered each year, and that's for KFC, alone. The chickens are bred using antibiotics and medicines, to be heavy and immensely overweight resulting the chickens to collapse under their own body weight, receiving broken wings, legs and even broken necks sometimes. The chickens are bred this way so they have more meat and less bone which is more ideal for consumption. The chicken suppliers are known to torture the chickens in inhuman ways such as, -Ripping the beaks off
-Having tobacco spit in their eyes
-Having their heads ripped off
-Being scalded alive
-Having their faces spray painted
-Throwing/Stepping on them
-Crowded into small rooms with feces
Aside from the torture of chickens that goes on in this industry there are more negatives. There have been proven cases of salmonella and e.coli in KFC chicken, caused by undercooked food. Some of these cases have been fatal and even one, resulting in the brain damage of a seven year old girl.
Being in the fast food industry KFC is unhealthy, which causes obesity in those who over consume their products. However consuming KFC in moderation should not cause obesity.
